Additional Information about the Heading Home

This was another show based on the concept 'the never-ending contest', just like Wacky Races. In this series, a roller derby team raced all over the world trying to win a $1,000,000 treasure. Each episode gave 1 clue as to where it was located. Just like many of the shows with the same sort of contest, there were always the bad guys trying to stop the Comets.

In the 1974 season CBS was showing "Bailey's Comets" on Sunday mornings. Mid-season they yanked this show for some reason and replaced it with "The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show" reruns.
