Guest Stars: The Three Stooges.
There's a scene that has been cut from current T.V. prints in which The 3 Stooges try hiding out at the flying base from The Red Baron. Another scene that's cut is when Shaggy and Scooby try controlling the little red plane up at the tower and Shaggy almost falls off of it.
Follows the same basic plot as the Scooby-Doo Where Are You! episode "Kooky Space Kook", only with much more to the story.
Numerous cues from the underscore of an early Hanna-Barbera creation, Dastardly And Muttley In Their Flying Machines (CBS, 1969-71), can be heard throughout "The Ghost Of The Red Baron". They can be heard again in "The Caped Crusader Caper."
The second and final appearance of The Three Stooges in a New Scooby-Doo Movie; the first was in the premiere episode, "The Ghastly Ghost Town."
Hanna-Barbera would once again animate The Three Stooges five years later as The Robonic Stooges (with original member Curly Howard, voiced by Franklin Welker), which was seen in 1977-78 on CBS as part of The Skatebirds.
