This is the only New Scooby-Doo Movie with the teaser sequence preceding the sub-main title card.

Different sub-main title music for this episode only. This alternate cue was also used for the sub-main titles of the Scooby Doo, Where Are You! episode, "Mine Your Own Business," which can be parallelled with "The Ghastly Ghost Town."

The New Scooby-Doo Movies main title theme song would become the universal theme of Scooby for the next 13 years.

The following snippets from this episode can be seen in the opening titles:
  1. Scooby is in the ground by an alligator.
  2. Scooby puts his fingers in his ears.
  3. The 3 Stooges ride in a mine cart.
  4. Scooby and a electronic outlaw walk towards each other and the outlaw shoots his guns.
