There's a scene that has been cut from current T.V. prints in which Meadowlark goes back to the van to get his basketball while Scooby and Shaggy hide out in a log from a ghost and Meadowlark confuses them for one when they see a real one.
Footage used in the basketball sequence is lifted from the December 5, 1970 episode of The Harlem Globetrotters: "Shook-Up Sheriff."
"The Ghostly Creep From The Deep" use the exact same exact ghost as original Scooby-Doo Where Are You! episode "Go Away Ghost Ship": Redbeard the Pirate (although with different voices)! A sequel, perhaps?
