Additional Information about the TV Cartoon Scooby-Doo Meets The Addams Family

Guest Starring The Addams Family.

This guest shot of The Addamses on The New Scooby Doo Movies would eventually lead to their own Saturday morning series titled, oddly enough, The Addams Family, which was also produced by Hanna-Barbera and debuted on NBC in 1973. Only Ted Cassidy and Jackie Coogan returned to reprise their original roles in that series; John Astin and Carolyn Jones were unavailable, and so were replaced by Lennie Weinrib and Janet Waldo, respectively.
