The original black and white cartoon has been colorized.

This is one of the few Popeye cartoons utilizing the Fleischers' special multiplane animation technique. It is in the first scene, introducing the school of etiquette.

The last episode that Gus Wickle voices Bluto. A 10-episode break without Bluto up to "Customers Wanted" where William Penell fills in the voice for Bluto.

Can't name enough of these Popeye classics.....
The 3-D setups at the beginning (i.e., the interior of Professor Bluteau's office) are sumptuous; his attempts to smooch Olive; and especially, Popeye's own demonstrations of escorting a lady...  (read more)
