The music used in this cartoon comes from Oscar Hammerstein's "The Song Of The Flame," filmed by Warners in 1930. One of the songs in that musical is "The Goose Hangs High"- hence the title of this cartoon.

Bosko is now a farmer and goes through all kinds of shenanigans but the most memorable part of his fourth film is the sequence with the drunk piglets and their "mother". Probably seen as controversial for children today, it is a staple of animation...  (read more)
