Production Notes:

The 52 six-minute episodes were produced in Spanish. When first brought to the United States, it was redubbed in English and retitled to 'Amigo and Friends'. Some new episodes were produced by Hanna-Barbera.

In real life, Cantinflas was a famous Mexican comedian (born Mario Moreno Reyes) who had performed for many years before this cartoon series hit the air.
