This TV series ran for 63 episodes.

Based on a 1978 manga in the girls' magazine "Nakayoshi," drawn by Shizue Takanishi from a script by Shunichi Yukimuro.

A 100-minute 1982 film introduced the mongrel puppy Anna. It was shown on a double bill with "Dokonjo Yumemekura" ("Gutsy Frog: Gutsy Dreaming").
