Production Notes:

The "actual" 500 episode of The Simpsons. This episode plays previous couch gags from over the years after Homer crashes through the garage door and as the screen zooms out of The Simpsons sitting down for the last couch gag, it shows the number "500," the screen breaks and reveals Homer choking Bart, both are wearing tuxedos.

The plot of this episode is a tad similar to "The Simpsons Movie."
