Beginning at Hearst's failed International Film Service in 1916, Burt Gillett moved over to Bray as an animator on The Shenanigan Kids after IFS's failure. Gillett began his first series as director in 1920. little is known about this series- none survive- but it has been described as a "series of joke cartoons redrawn from the magazines Judge and Leslie's Weekly."
