In a cross-studio collaboration, The Flintstones will be produced jointly by 20th Century Fox Television and Warner Bros. Television. Warner Bros. is home to The Flintstones via its ownership of the Hanna-Barbera collection of animated titles.
The show, first announced by FOX in May of 2011, was put on an indefinite hold in mid-April 2012. There is no word on when production will resume. It is assumed that Seth MacFarlane is overwhelmed with other projects, and this is the one that had to give.
