The classic Mystery, Inc. gang (Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo) gain a new member named Scrappy-Doo. This was one of the few programs with Scrappy that also featured the entire gang from Scooby Doo, Where Are You!? As the character progressed into new programs, he was usually seen with just Shaggy, Scooby and sometimes Daphne. Scrappy-Doo, at the time, was an extremely popular characater who would then become an integral part of the Scooby-Doo Series for many years to come.
