A follow-up series ran for 33 episodes in 1981, this time on TV Asahi. Set after Naoto Date's death, it included characters Tatsuo and Outer Space Mask. Directors were Kozo Mirishita, Shigenori Yamauchi, Hideki Takayama, Tomoharu Katsumata, Masayuki Akehi, Kazuo Yamazaki and Osamu Sekita. Haruya Yamazaki was the writer; animation was by Tsukasa Abe.
