Additional Information about the TV Cartoon Nijiiro No Doresu

Part live-action, part animated.

Sequel to Maple Town Monogatari. This series lasted for 50 episodes, the last 12 of which were actually 6 two-part episodes. This series has only aired in Japan to date.

This series and its predecessor each had a "movie" spinoff, the first (Maple Town Monogatari) running for 24 minutes and the second (Shin Maple Town Monogatari - Home Town Hen) running for 30. Both "movies" were apparently re-edited TV episodes shown theatrically as part of holiday multiple bills.

Alternate Series Titles: "新メイプルタウン物語 パームタウン編" and "New Maple Town Story: Palm Town Chapter."
