This TV series premiered on April 20, 2009 on Jetix in Latin America. Air dates listed are for qubo in the United States.
Each episode consists of two cartoons.
What do Cow-pig-shrimp-chickens, 1950s bowling coaches, robots with beautiful hair, two-legged rhinos, gravy and songs about gravy have in common? Nothing really. But they're all in Spliced - a show about mixed-up freaky animal mutants and their mixed-up freaky animal mutant friends.
Peri and his pal Entrče are the leftovers of insane genetic experiments, abandoned on Keep Away Island after their mad scientist creator was arrested for crimes against nature and good taste. Along with a whole neighborhood of equally weird creatures, they embark on heartwarming adventures that usually involve someone catching on fire and someone else learning a lesson about sharing. Or bowling. Or what you shouldn't put in your mouth. Or why it seems like hair grows back thicker after you've shaved. Y'know, important stuff like that.
Spliced - it'll make you think Scientastic is a word.
