Pearlie is an urban-fairy comedy based on the best-selling "Pearlie the Park Fairy" books by Australian comedienne and radio personality Wendy Harmer. Some fairies collect teeth and leave behind money while others get princesses to the ball on time. But this is the story of one of magic's unsung heroes, Pearlie, the park fairy who, along with elf Jasper and fellow fairy Opal, fight to keep Jubilee Park safe from mischievous fairy Sapphire and goblin Gobsmack. Pearlie may be less than two inches high, but she is big on glamour and full of style with energy to burn as she takes it upon herself to organize not only the park, but the lives of those around her.
