Production Notes:

Production was canceled by Disney after the box office failure of Robert Zemeckis' motion capture film Mars Needs Moms.

The film was to have used motion capture and CGI to recreate the hand-drawn animation of the original film. Was to be presented to audiences in Digital 3D.

Planned to be released at the 2012 Olympics in London.

The Fab Four, a California-based Beatles copy band, was taken into Zemeckis' San Francisco area studio to perform for the motion capture cameras.
