Cartoon Production Information:

"Totally Minnie" was a live-action/animation musical produced especially to coincide with the 60th anniversary of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. It was the first full-length film to center on Minnie Mouse, and included numerous 1980s songs as part of its soundtrack. During the recording session of this special, Wayne Allwine (the voice of Mickey) met Russi Taylor (the voice of Minnie). They married in 1991.

Minnie performs "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" with Elton John.

The animation for "Totally Minnie" was provided by a division of the Hollywood commercial/animation studio FilmFair. Another division of the same parent company is British FilmFair, a British company which had provided animation for the television series "Huxley Pig," "Junglies", "Nellie the Elephant" and the big hit series "Paddington." In the '80s and onward, Disney often subcontracted commercial and special-projects work to other studios like FilmFair.

I first came across Totally Minnie while trawling through Wikipedia, and as it was advertised as Minnie's first own feature, I thought it worth a look.
