Cartoon Production Information:

Hanna-Barbera's The Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show was a spin-off of one of America's most beloved cartoon families, The Flintstones. In the new series, Pebbles Flintstone and the brawny Bamm Bamm Rubble had grown up to be healthy teenagers (as well as boyfriend and girlfriend), attending Bedrock High School with friends Moonrock, Wiggy, Penny, and Cindy. Probably their most fondly remembered companion was Schleprock, whose sullen demeanor, low-worn hat, and perpetual bad luck were always good for a laugh.

The show chronicled the energetic teens through their zany adventures-and misadventures-driving around Bedrock in Bamm Bamm's jalopy. Taking their cue from other popular music-based cartoons like The Archies, Pebbles, Bamm Bamm and the gang were also in a rock band, the Bedrock Rollers. Former Dennis the Menace Jay North voiced Bamm Bamm, while Sally Struthers, All in the Family's Gloria Bunker, did the honors for Pebbles.

The Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show had quite a successful run. After appearing on its own for the entire 1971-72 season, the teens reunited with their parents on The Flintstones Comedy Hour from 1972-1974. In 1974 the show went back to its original half-hour format, where it remained until 1976.

Traditional, Hand-drawn Animation.
