This show ran for sixteen episodes.
For the 1973 season, CBS dropped the rerun episodes of "The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show," shortening the overall show a half-hour. The 1973 reruns were retitled "The Flinstone Comedy Show," and no new segments were produced for the shortened show. This continued the networks' tradition in those days that whenever they could, they'd run a cartoon show for 16 new episodes but it would be on the air for two years, the balance in reruns. The "second season" in reruns would see it either pushed to the end of Saturday morning, or at the very beginning of Saturday morning, or, in the cases of CBS and ABC, put on Sunday morning.
