Follow the fabulous tales of an impressionable young boy, Flapjack, and his two advice-giving best friends: the crusty old pirate called Captain K'nuckles and the wise-talking blue whale, Bubbie, whose mouth they call "home, sweet home." Armed with an overwhelming desire to be known as a true "Adventurer," Flapjack will do anything- and this means anything!- to follow his quest to reach a fabled floating island, no matter the number of insurmountable obstacles or overwhelming dangers that he might face in The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack.

This TV series had its global premiere on Cartoon Network in the United States on June 5, 2008. Its Canadian premiere, on Teletoon, came only two days later.
