Presented in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D in select theaters.

Sequel to Pixar's Cars. A short film featuring Toy Story characters were shown before the theatrical release of Cars 2.

Both George Carlin (Fillmore) and Paul Newman (Doc Hudson) died between the production of the original film and this sequel.

Release date is that of Hollywood premiere; general North American release date was June 24, 2011.

Alternate Title: "Cars 2: World Grand Prix."
