Cartoon Summary:

Nishihara Wakana's true story of her older brother's final visit home before going off to fight and die in World War II in a Japanese Kaiten (human torpedo).

Cartoon Production Information:

Sepia tones are combined with minimal animation. Made as a first-year project, this film was first shot horizontally against a wall with a Bolex, then animated under the camera using charcoal dust and vine charcoal. Based on a reminiscence in "Japan...  (more)
