Cartoon Summary:
Tom is all set to eat Jerry when an eagle swoops down and grabs Jerry. To get Jerry back, Tom poses as a female eagle, and quickly finds his new lover to be more than he bargained for.

Poor T just wants his lunch and a hawk steals it. And rather than just going elsewhere to eat, he does an extreme thing and dresses up like a female bird. (Dress, lipstick, eye shadow and all. (He even shakes his butt at the bird.)

A neat early example of how the Avery influence was creeping into HB's Tom & Jerrys: though I wouldn't give Avery full credit for the hawk character......he's pretty much the "anonymous"-type MGM cartoon animal character... (read more)

Again, I voted this one a perfect 10. Tom running around in drag--and that ridiculous eagle falling for it--was unbelievably funny. And the finale is a hoot, too.
