Wow.....this is the very first "anti-spanking" cartoon. I wonder if the Disney people took notice? (I somehow doubt it.)

A very poignant Popeye cartoon. Popeye spanks Swee'Pea and then feels the pangs of guilt for it. It leads to a griping adventure and a heartwarming ending. Excellent cartoon with a message on parenting that was way ahead of its time. Great stuff! ... (read more)
