Classic color remake of SHOEIN HORSES, with Popeye and Bluto competing for a job at Olive Oyl's Blacksmith Shoppe. But Bluto has designs for the job and Olive, which Popeye won't tolerate!...  (read more)

This is a good remake of the 1933 Fleischer cartoon, SHOEIN' HOSSES, which not only reworks the orginal concept, but is well drawn and well animated with good use of color. Perhaps the ending isn't as triumphant with Bluto beating his brains out...  (read more)
