Cartoon Summary:
Lazy is bitten by a purple fly while chopping wood. He turns purple. After a while, every Smurf in the village is purple, except for Papa Smurf. He races against time to find a cure.
Cartoon Production Information:
Originally based on "Les Schtroumpfs Noirs" in which the Smurfs are turned black and not purple.

Don't know if it was by coincidence that this originally aired on Oct.31 or not, but this episode used to scare me. When they're all purple and shouting "G'NAP!" and the village is on fire, pretty violent stuff when you're seven... (read more)

Quite possibly the best episode ever. I probably first saw it when I was 6, or so. The one I remember best, though I've only seen it once or twice. I can remember a lot of the episode, how the Smurfs slowly were losing their own, and the purples were... (read more)
