Cartoon Summary:

At the Court for Inhuman Relationships, Mrs. Duck attempts to divorce Daffy after his misfired magic trick makes their egg disappear.

The first of three Warner Bros. cartoons wherein Daffy Duck is cast as a hen (duck?!)-pecked husband; the other two are "His Bitter Half" (1950) and "Quackodile Tears" (1962).

A great and bizarre one

The acting in this one is phenomenal, and the "risque" gags are played perfectly. A great example of how a simple concept can be drawn out into a great performance by brilliant animators and voice actors. The hen's comment at the end...  (read more)

When I saw this as a little kid, I didn't like it. It dealt with divorce, which I didn't like, because one of my friends went through it. It was sort of scary when the egg disappeared, and I was freaking out with Daffy. Now, as a teen,...  (read more)

One of Clampett's most atypical efforts--it's not as reliant on breakneck-paced, violent humor--but still one of his best, in my opinion. Drama, crisis, and a happy ending to please everybody.
