Cartoon Summary:

Opens with the Sheriff of Nottingham riding frantically to the palace of King John. He stays a few paces ahead of pursuing arrows. Arriving the arrows hit him, he manages to alert the King of the return of Robin Hood (the Fox), quits, then dies. The King elevates the Crow to be the new The Sheriff of Nottingham. A haggling session ensues in which the King and the Crow negotiate over his salary. This haggling become a running gag. Several sequences follow including Hunting the King's Deer, A droll encounter with the Merry Men, and the Archery Contest where the capture is finally made. There's a surprise ending too which leads to one more haggling session.
