Cartoon Summary:

The tremors caused by his stampeding neighbors are preventing Colonel Rat from eating his breakfast. When the Squirrel shows him the reason- the newspaper headline "Loch Ness Monster Seen Again"- the Colonel immediately catches the train to Loch Ness and sends Willie the Worm ("William the Conqueror," as his jam jar is labeled) down on the end of a fishing line to bring the monster back. After meeting such unlikely denizens of Loch Ness as an octopus and some "conga" eels, Willie conquers the Monster, who tells them he is merely "a fairytale, a legend" and with a crazy laugh bounds off into the distance.
