Cartoon Summary:

A look back to 1898 America, with handlebar mustaches, ladies in dresses with bustles, full-body swimsuits and the start of the motor car age, a time of free beer, boxing matches and player pianos. Four mustached men in a bar sing the theme song "Those Were Wonderful Days" and use all the items around them as instruments. At a Fourth of July picnic gala, two young lovers court until Oil Can Harry intervenes, kidnapping the busty young lady with the use of a hot- air balloon. The gallant lover comes to the rescue, shooting himself out of a cannon, and retrieves the fair damsel... but guess who she finally chooses?
