Cartoon Summary:

Baseball game between Popeye's Pirates and Bluto's Bears. Popeye's team will lose unless he can come up with some great pitching and play all the positions himself. When Popeye drops his spinach, Bluto eats it for strength and replaces the spinach with grass! He gets the best of Popeye as his pitches take on all sorts of wild sight gags that only a cartoon could carry off. Popeye plants some spinach seeds, grows the spinach and eats it in time to clobber enough homers to win the game.
