Cartoon Summary:

Snafu is stationed at a remote, lonely and freezing northern outpost. "It's so cold," he says, "it would freeze the nuts off a jeep!" (at which point the jeep's lug nuts fall off). He fantasizes about how wonderful things are back home. He imagines his father playing pool in a bar, his mother gossiping at bridge club, and his grandpa at a hoochie-coochie show with bump-and-grind dancers. Sally Lou, he figures, must be out on the town with some 4-F playboy. He gets a visit from Technical Fairy First Class, who shows Snafu what is actually happening back home. Dad is working like a maniac building tanks, Mom is planting a victory garden, and Grandpa is riviting in the shipyard. They're all working so hard to support the boys "over there." Sally Lou is doing her part as a WAC.
