This has got to be one of the worst Tom & Jerry shorts. Bad animation & weird story. Gene's T&J shorts are much better than Chuck's though!

The good thing about the Gene Deitch Tom & Jerry series is that they tug at my heartstrings. The bad thing is that they tug at my heartstrings-- a lot of times disturbingly so. This episode has a little bit of good and bad.
