Buried under the ice and snow of Antarctica's polar regions is the nerve center of a weather station. The captain gets word that food is running low, and he orders Smedley to fly to Camp Century for supplies. Smedley scurries to the plane, only to find a mass of holes in the ice runway. The culprit is our fish-loving penguin, Chilly Willy. Trying the gentle approach, Smedley picks up Chilly and informs him that no fishing is allowed on government property. This admonition having no effect, he catches Chilly again, sets him on a spear, and catapults him through the air. Chilly lands on the captain's desk. Infuriated, the captain orders Smedley to patch up the runway holes and get the plane off the ground. In his haste to carry out the orders, Smedley falls into one of the ice holes. Meanwhile, Chilly's still drilling more holes in the runway. In desperation, Smedley tries to divest Chilly of his destructive weapon by reeling in the drill line. He winds up flat on his back, with the drill firmly bound to his body with the line. Chilly pushes the drill button, and Smedley spins like a top, drilling more holes in the ice, and eventually drilling right through the ceiling of the captain's quarters. Thoroughly disgusted by now, the captain decides that he'll have to get the supplies by himself. Chilly ties a rope to the plane, which comes crashing down. Quizzically, Smedley turns to Chilly and asks him what they're going to do now! The answer, of course, is- go fishing! Chilly comes up with two fishing reels. As they come up with a fish in each hand, Chilly snatches the big one and takes off, leaving Smedley standing disconsolately in the ice hole with just one very small fish for himself.
