Cartoon Summary:

Lucius is popular and friendly with the kids. His showy tricks, sleight of hand and worldly ways impress the boys. But Fat Albert is bothered by his emotional roller-coaster and tried to find out what's really going on. Lucius drinks because his parents don't give him any attention. The drinking dulls his pain and gives him the false bravado to seek attention from the other kids. Fat Albert wisely summarices that Lucius has to have the courage to face up to his problems directly, including his parents and his home life.
