Cartoon Summary:

Popeye's four nephews would rather eat ice cream than spinach, so he tells them a story about how spinach saved his great-great-great Uncle Hercules. This story explains the origin of Popeye's fondness for spinach! Bluto plays Hercules' nemesis in the historical sections and reappears in the present-day story for a surprise ending.
