Cartoon Summary:

Someone or something has been stealing the puppies' items: Cooler's blanket, Nose Marie's necklace, Bright Eyes' doll and Whopper's squeak toy. The gang suspects that Howler's the one who wasn't robbed and they find their stuff in his house. Soon afterwards, Howler is banished from the pound. Cooler hires a bloodhound detective named Sherlock Bones after all the houses have been robbed again, and Sherlock proves that it really wasn't Howler who did it. It was a family of wild raccoons who've been stealing for their children. They were Howler's guests. The pups look for Howler, only to find that Captain Slaughter was chasing him and his friend Fred in his truck. Cooler saves them and defeats the captain (they have a history together). The gang reinstates Howler back into the pound and helps fix things up with the help of the raccoon family. Sherlock and Fred get adopted.
