Cartoon Summary:

The short begins on one of the scenes in the movie where WALL•E is riding the probe ship, namely the one where he touches one of the planet's rings.

A part of the ring starts moving at high speed towards the Axiom, and into one of its lights. Auto then assigns BURN-E to repair it. But as he was gonna replace the light, WALL•E waves at him, leaving BURN-E distracted enough to leave the light fly aimlessly into space.

At the second attempt, as BURN-E fastens the light, GO-4 launches the escape pod holding WALL•E, with EVE behind him trying to save him. As the pod explodes, BURN-E becomes startled and sliced the light off.

Then, at the third attempt, BURN-E replaces the light as WALL•E and EVE were flying around the Axiom until WALL•E ran out of liquid for the fire extinguisher. And so, WALL•E and EVE fly into the Axiom, locking BURN-E out in the process.

A while later, EVE tries to free a damaged WALL•E from a gigantic trash cube that's about to be launched into space. Seeing the airlock, BURN-E sees this as an opportunity to enter the Axiom, until the WALL•A closed its doors. Going back to his workplace, BURN-E then uses his welder to make an opening for him to enter.

Meanwhile, Captain B. McCrea attacks Auto. Auto then tilts the entire starliner to the point where people are falling off their hoverchairs and slide down on one side. As BURN-E tries to reactivate the light via SUPPLY-R's control pad, he too starts sliding out of the Axiom. The Captain then readjusts the Axiom's balance, and the starliner hyperjumps back to Earth.

BURN-E then gets back to reactivate the light, but he can't find SUPPLY-R anywhere. He searches all over the Axiom, at least, until he is accidentally launched in a escape pod. BURN-E then finds SUPPLY-R and reactivates the light, but the lid from the escape pod destroyed it again, leaving BURN-E to faint in total disbelief. SUPPLY-R pats him on the head and says 'There, there.'
