MPT Coverage: A Clue For Scooby Doo 5 out of 5 stars

Time for our next Scooby coverage, and it's time for A Clue For Scooby Doo

On memory this episode is pretty classic. The Ghost of Captain Cutler is pretty cool and gives a good memory. Some of the scenes can play out in my mind, as does the title card since it was one of the different ones. I have high memories of this one and always look forward to it coming up on the schedule

The plot has our Scooby stamp all over it. While having a beach party, the ghost diver of Captain Cutler tries to scare off the gang and we get a mystery. Again this is early so some of the things such as "it's someone we met before" isn't their per say but still a good plot.

The Scooby Gang is in tip top fashion, as i'll be saying that alot. Our ghost here doesn't say a word but has a great look that's easily memorable. Our minor characters are pretty well done here, where they aren't exactly special but all pretty nice for their job.

I rank this Scooby episode pretty high on the rewatchability. It has a lot of good memory and gags. It's early Scooby and a great one at that. I know i look forward to seeing this episode again and again.

If I have to bestow a rating on this episode i give it a 10/10 A

Captain Cutler!

This revelation, along with the proclamation in "What a Night for a Knight" of "Professor Hyde White!" pretty much cinched the Mystery Machine gang for being serious business when it came to solving the mysteries.
They always got their man in the end, that's for sure, no matter how often they would be called meddling kids.
This would be one of the few episodes when the kids would be out of their trademark attire and would instead be wearing diving gear; the other show being "That's Snow Ghost" when they wore coats, hats and earmuffs.
As a kid, I can say the ghostly diver did stand as one of the more frightening ghosts, mainly for his eerie arrival music.
