Hair-Raising Hare 10 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: vijones87, March 18, 2005

My personal favorite of classic Charles m. Jones Bugs! I still to this day get a kick of Bugsy pointing Gossamer out to the audience, as the monster cries, "PEOPLE?!? YAHHHHHHH!" 15 out of 10! Nuff said!

Hair-Raising Hare 10 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: richardjf, August 17, 2003

This is one of two cartoons in which the sneakered monster is called Rudolph (the other being "Water Water Every Where" with the Vincent Price doctor) who would later be re-christened Gossamer by Marvin the Martian.
Bugs' devotion to the robot rabbit as he proclaims "Baby!" would be used in a song from "Earth Girls Are Easy" with Geena Davis, Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans.
But the monster getting his nails done (another joke that would be redone in "Water Water Every Where" that time Bugs would do the monster's hair) is still what cartoons and jokes are supposed to be; humor and satire on life.
