The wind in the Willows - a review from Russian fan of animation 5 out of 5 stars

It was long time ago in Russia I occasionally got the LaserDisk PAL namely with this version of famous story from some collector in Moskow - just pay attention ! - not VHS tape but beautifully officially printed 30 cm LD Hi-Qu LaserDisk ! My children simply fell in love with it. (though we did not understand much of English fluent speech first) Oh, such a talented actor work of Charles Nelson Reilly!.. Now the disk itself is seriously damaged ( due to long time elapsed since 1987 - great pity - the surface of the brilliant laser-disk is darkened, so the picture itself got very noisy ) and we tried to find somewhere a new copy of this version of animation movie but in vain.
It is really a distinguished work of international crew of animators and actors.
Please do make the new edition of this version of "The Wind in the Willows"
sorry for my possible mistakes in Engl.

Charming adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's childrens classic.I love the music and the cast gives an exceptional flavor to this animated feature. Taped it years ago from a television special which is the only reason I have it in my possession. I urge Rankin-Bass to please release this on DVD/VHS if they have not already done so. I have no doubt that many others would enjoy this rendering whether young or old...I certainly know that I do! Help before the tape breaks!!
