GREAT MEMORIES! 5 out of 5 stars

WOW! I am a 45 year old African American male and I was looking at old Saturday morning cartoon clips on You Tube and ran across the Kid Power Theme video! i immediately cried because it brings back such fond memories of my childhood growing up in the seventies here in Memphis! i am a nostalgia buff and the SEVENTIES were truly an era to be proud of.....GREAT music, television, movies and even the clothing styles that people today claim were horrible. Life was so much better in the seventies and it was trult fantastic to be a kid in this era. How I WISH i could go back. Thanks for the memories whoever posted that fantastic clip. I'll be watching it for the next hour! VIVA THE 1970's! If more kids could see this cartoon today, I'm sure the world might have a little more love. This era was when kids could really be kids! Kid Power taught us how to get along and love one another! Shows of today rarely even have a message or plot like they did back then.Whatever happened to Saturday morning cartoons also? I don't even see them anymore! THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES KID POWER! YOU CHANGED MY LIFE AND I WILL CHERISH THE THEME SONG FOREVER!

I am sooo excited I found a web site about Kid Power (I'm teary eyed)! I have a good friend that always brings up the Kid Power lunch box I used to have in elementary school when we are being nostalgic. :) I absolutely loved Kid Power! I still have the book somewhere. Thank you so much for a well written, beautiful cartoon. Where can I purchase the series?

Kid Power 10 out of 5 stars

Amazing as it may seem "Kid Power" had a tremendous impact on my adult career choices. I was so influenced by Kid Power and similar venues (Free To Be You And Me, The Big Blue Marble) that I entered the field of Public Relations with an empahsis on community building and diversity management. Back in 1972 I had the Kid Power lunch box and proudly carried it as I explained the wonders of children working together for a better world.

I vividly recall the respect and admiration each child had for each other as they voiced their opinions in an effort to achieve a larger goal of peace and harmony. It would be wonderful to show this cartoon to my nieces and nephews because the lessons of diversity, peace and mutual respect are universal and timeless.
