Bushy Hare 10 out of 5 stars

Additional Production Note: Bugs sang "How Dry I A

Reviewed by: 63x927is58401, July 08, 2004

Bushy Hare started with Bugs visiting a carnival.
Immediately thereafter, a balloon salesman asks
Bugs to hold his balloons for him, so he can tie his shoelace.
While Bugs is holding the group of balloons, he (Bugs) is slowly airlifted by the big quantity of hot-air balloons. Shortly after being air- lifted, Bugs sang "How Dry I Am", next was the
"clouded-collision" inwich Bugs is in a storks pack and a joey (baby kangaroo) is now holding onto the balloons. After the storks stops at Australia, to "complete its delivery", Bugs is in "Mother Kangaroo"'s pouch.
Then Bugs versus "Nature Boy" (Aborigine) numerous "battles" started.
Bushy Hare is hilarious from beginning to end.

Bushy Hare 10 out of 5 stars

My all time favorite

This is indeed, my all time favorite cartoon, one that I haven't had the pleasure of seeing for a long time. The scenes between Nature and Bugs are so hilarious. I don't see anything un-pc about this cartoon. Take it for what it is, a very creative and entertaining film.

Excellent

My favorite.

Bugs Bunny gets into an argument with an aboriginal he calls "Nature Boy" yelling "Uga-buga-buga" back in forth.
Finally, Bugs says softly, "Uga-buga-binga-buga-uga-buga-bunga" and Nature boy gets engaged.

During a chase scene, Bugs in Nature Boy are paddling in the same canoe, going in and out of tunnels. Finally, they exit the "tunnel of love" with Nature Boy holding bugs in his arms. Bugs effeminately say "Nature, I didn't know you cared!" and plants a big kiss on Nature Boy.

There are many other funny scenes.

I was saddened to learn that the Cartoon Netwook did not show "Bushy Hare" in in a 2001 Marathon and it was blacklisted at the last minute from a 1999 Warner release of jungle themed shows due to political correctness. This was my favorite cartoon as a child, and I was raised to be accepting of all races. I never saw "Bushy Hare" as being racists. I guess the only politically correct foils for Bugs can be redneck fools like Elmer Fudd.
