Cartoon Comments:

Slick Hare 10 out of 5 stars

Bogart & Bugs

This is another great cartoon to feature Hollywood stars fron the 1940s. Combining Humphrey and Bugs Bunny is hugely entertaining. Bogart can also been seen with Bugs in 8 Ball Bunny. Baby (Lauren Bacall) finally shows up at the end. The appaearance of Ray Milland at the bar is an obvious reference to "Lost Weekend", another popular WB movie of the time. Great cartoon!!!!

Slick Hare 10 out of 5 stars

Love Hina

I viewed this Cartoon many times on Kids TV here in Utah in the mid 1950's yes there are numerious referrences to famious Hollywood Celebs of the 1930's and 40's. Humphry Bogart's threating way and his lines ''What ever Baby wants Baby gets", are a perfect threat to Buggs. Lots of funny action like when Buggs is served up on a covered platter, it just all comes together to produce another Warner classic of that era.

Wow, this cartoon is funny and chocked full of Hollywood refrences. I don't understand most of the jokes because they poke fun at famous actors that I don't know about. But I love the show anyway just because of this. I love old refrences to things that I don't know about, but my grandparents might. It's a good way to learn things about an era. There is joke poked at a "Mr. Malan". He seems depressed and broke so there is a story there just waiting to be heard. This cartoon excites me because it is old and full of jokes that only the old can laugh at. This makes it special to me because it makes you feel like you're part of the club, but as a watcher.
