Cartoon Production Information:


Already-recorded children's records from such labels as Bluebird, Capitol and Young Peoples Records were set to limited animation. Such famous announcers as Stan Freberg, Art Gilmore, Patrick McGeehan, Jane Pickens and Don Wilson were narrators.

Initially, the series combined live-action and animated segments in order to show the works of author Thornton Burgess. Material from other authors was added when the series was expanded to 104 episodes.

The newer episodes consisted entirely of animation.
