Cartoon Production Information:

This TV series originally ran for 25 black and white episodes. It was remade in color in 1971 as "New Qtaro" and moved to Shinei studio, running for 70 episodes.

A second remake, also called "New Qtaro," came out in 1985, directed by Shinichi Suzuki. It ran for 96 episodes. An attempt was made to update the Qtaro character. Several episodes were translated by Hawaiian Japanese-language station KIKU and broadcast with Engilsh subtitles in several areas in the United States with Japanese communities.

The character General Godzilla is no relation to the giant monster.

"Jump, Qtaro! BakeBake's Grand Strategem," a 13-minute 1986 "movie," used 3D technology.

Another short film, "Go Qtaro! War at 100th Size," was released in 1987.
