Release date reflects first showing at the Cannes Film Market. Los Angeles release: December 16, 2005. U.S. general release date: January 13, 2006.

Almost all of the movie was produced by Filipino computer graphic artists. Co-director and screenwriter Tony Leech spent months in Manila to oversee the animation. "Never did I think I would spend so much time in the Philippines. We called it Camp Hoodwinked," he said.

The Weinstein Company's first CG-animated feature.
