Cartoon Production Information:

Combined live action and cel and stop-motion animation.

Created using Sony's High-Definition CineAlta Camera, which shoots 24 frames per second.

Cut on an Avid. Effects and animation created with Flame, Henry and Inferno.

The mixed media piece was made possible as part of Sony's "Joy" project. Only a select handful of top international directors were invited to create a film of their choice using Sony's new high-definition CineAlta camera. While the series was previously live-action, Vinton Studios got an exclusive invitation from Sony as the sole company to incorporate animation.

Ananda is Hindi for "joy."
